We love Adam!

Special thanks to our friends Adam, Tracy and Emma. Adam gave up two of his afternoons off during MEA this month and helped Eric work on our deck. We are especially appreciative of this gift of Adam's help and time because Tracy and Emma were at home sick. Thank you Adam, Tracy and Emma!!!

Adam and Eric worked into the dark on Thursday and again Friday afternoon. Together they finished digging the trenches for the concrete piers, set the piers in place and began framing the deck. Friday they worked to frame the stairs. It was hard to visualize the final product while they worked, but the progress that was being made was such an incredible step forward.

On the weekend, we got up and stared out our front window happily surveying the progress and dreaming about the day we would again be able to walk in our front door. We sipped on a cup of coffee while dreaming about the day this project would be completed. Since the weather has started to turn, we knew we had little time left to finish before the snow might fall.
