After nearly 2 months of hanging out in the house with little Noah, we're finally starting to go a bit stir crazy. I am finding myself trying to invent errands that need to be run so that we can get out during the day. I love being home with Noah, but sitting inside these four walls leaves something to be desired. Wouldn't it be wonderful if it were 75 and sunny outside so that we could go for a walk to the park and around Como Lake. We've considered taking a trip to Como Zoo, but the walk from the parking lot is long and would be cold so we haven't found the courage to do so yet. Today we may head out to the Mall of America for a long walk so that "Mom" can get some exercise. It would be really great if St. Paul had an indoor park. I've heard there is one in Woodbury, but that's quite a drive. Maybe we'll head out there one day next week anyway.
If anybody has any suggestions of what to do with a little baby in the middle of a Minnesota winter, we're all ears!

Ditto on the stir crazy. Here are some ideas that come to mind....
Edinborough indoor play area in Edina..Lots of good kid watching for Noah and lots of moms and dads for you to talk with
Any mall is always good, although the MOA is particularly good because Nordstrom's has a nice nursing lounge on the third floor.
MN Zoo....It's a long drive, but the tropics trail feels pretty balmy in the middle of the winter.
Conservatory at Como...I know the walk from the car is long, but put a blanket over the kid and run. He will be fine and you will feel much better.
Go out for coffee...Moms of infants are a pretty common customer in the middle of the day.
I heard about, but never tried movies for moms. They are movies that are screened at about noon and are especially for moms of infants. You can see a movie and you don't have to worry about your kid crying in the theater.
Hope these help. I have better suggestions for the summer!
