Sickies

Well, we're a bunch of sickies here in the Williamson household. Eric's got some type of bronchitis which they don't believe is contagious, but has been running him down for over a week. And Noah got a fever today at daycare. So far I'm staying healthy, but I'm just expecting something will be coming my way pretty soon. I've been trying to wash my hands as much as possible an sanitize the surfaces in our house, but catching something is probably inevitable.

Despite not feeling great, Eric was a trooper this weekend and spent an hour walking around the Walker Sculpture Garden. We had fun as I reminisced about Versailles and how the hedges separating parts of the garden reminded me of France. Eric and I both acknowledged that we miss Europe and would love the opportunity to spend another long-term temporary assignment over there for work. Of course, if I were to go there for 3 months again, Eric would quit his job so that he could stay home with Noah. But we're probably dreaming. I haven't heard of any opportunities on the horizon.
